The Greenville Jaycees have selected two charities as race beneficiaries.

Give2theTroops

Give2thetroops is a national, nonprofit, volunteer organization that supports our deployed troops with care packages.  The Greenville based branch of the Give2theTroops organization is the largest branch in the country.  The North Carolina branch mails about 400 packages each month, supporting about 5000 troops.

North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center

The North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center is dedicated to providing the crucial combination of specialized medical care and rehabilitative services required by victims of severe burns. A portion of all money raised annually by local NC Jaycee chapters is donated to the NC Jaycee Burn Center.

The Flat Out 5K & Fun Run is put on by the Greenville Jaycees, a local chapter of the NC Jaycees. The Greenville Jaycees are a non-profit civic group that emphasizes community service, social networking and leadership development for young adults ages 21-40.
